A little crafty . . .

Some time ago, my wife and me were out walking. I think it was in the Yorkshire Dales somewhere, when we found one of those Dales gift shops. It was interesting, as it seemed to be a craft shop also. I could see boxes of yarn on one of the walls and there was a stand that had hanks of embroidery silks just inside the door. We were actually waiting for the local pub to open as we were ready for a spot of lunch. We mooched around the shop and my wife spotted some flowers made from buttons and garden wire, just like in the picture. They were rather expensive at around £1.00 each. She was considering getting some when I said that I could make them. I had lots of buttons and garden wire, so we got home, I had a go and the picture is the result.

I have every intention of writing up a “How To” guide which I will post on my Pics and Words site in the next few days.
