A powerful, strong word …

Well here’s a thing! The second day on bid to create a post based on the Daily Prompt and I’m a little stumped. Not a good sign is it?

Betrayed. Like I say, a powerful, strong word. Not a word to be used lightly. It evokes may historical thoughts. The betrayal of Christ by Judas, Vidkun Quisling during World War 2 the Gunpowder Plot and many more that can be found with a quick Google or Bing search.

But have I been betrayed? I suppose over the years I’ve been stitched up, put upon and wrongly blamed, but to call them betrayals would not be a proper use of the word in the greater scheme of things.

As I said earlier, this has stumped me, so with that in mind, I think I’ll finish now.
