Aha, I thought. This should be easy. Then I looked through my library. Oh! Oh dear! I was struggling. Could I use a close up picture of a Dahlia, or is that not ornate? What about that picture of the formal gardens? No, I’ve used that one before. Then I remembered this one. Taken on our few days at the Beamish open air museum, in the Masonic Hall.

Very nice photographs, Tony. I struggled with this one too and actually scrapped my first attempt (it was a full post with three photos). Who would guess this theme would be so difficult?

Thank you Jean. They are not the kind of photos I would normally take, and it was more by chance than design that I took this one. I love the picture of your that looks like a grand unused fireplace
