I’ve finally got the date to start the new job. It’s going to be the 8th May, and I think it has finally sunk in with most people, that I am actually going. Although, there’s one fool, who seems to of the opinion, that he will still be able to tell me what to do!!! I’ve been in the same section for 22 years, and to be fair, I’ve enjoyed it for the most parts. I’m going to miss some people, but some I’ll be glad to see the back of. I’ll not mention names, because it would come as a bit of a shock to some of them, as they probably think that I actually like them. It is going to be a very strange day on Friday!

I had a good birthday last Friday. I’m now in that age group that is second from the bottom of those drop-down boxes when you are signing up for something on a web page. Saying that, I suppose if been in that age group for a couple of years now, but it’s getting very close to the last one…the one with the ‘plus’ symbol after it.
