The above refers to this being the first day of Mrs H’s Bulgarian holiday !!! She has gone off, with her sister, her sisters two kids and her sisters partners youngest, to Borovets (hope I’ve spelt that right) for a break. It’s a well known ski resort, but her and the sister are not skiing. That’s just for the kids. Hmmmm.

     So, I’m here with the youngest, who is going on respite on Monday for four nights !!!! Party time, I hear you say !!!! Nope !!! Youngest is having his bedroom decorated and floor done. So the plan for the week is:

• Monday – strip out the bedroom, paint the ceiling and hopefully most of the woodwork
• Tuesday – at work, then out with the eldest
• Wednesday – wallpaper, and finish any painting
• Thursday – at work, start to put back the bedroom
• Friday – finish rebuilding the bedroom, youngest back home.

Busy time for me then !!!

     The next door neighbour has been at it again with the chain saw. This time he has cut down the laurel at the from of his garden. He’s been really savage with it, and taken it down by a third in height, and at least 60% off its bulk. He’s promised to cut down elderberry tree too. It causes a real mess on the drive and the car, and to be honest, it looks out of place.

     The youngest new laptop, is proving a great success, with one exception. Why did MS decided to take out the original Movie Maker program ? The versions that ships with Windows 7, is not a patch on the XP and Vista version. After YouTube, it’s R…’s favourite Windows program, and he hates this new version. Apparently there is a stand alone Vista version, so I’ve promised to download it and install it for him. Fingers crossed it works as everyone says it does.
