Surprisingly, today turned out quite well. Thought we may have problems, when R*** woke up at half past three, but after getting him a drink, he settled back to sleep around quarter past four. For the majority of the day, he has been fine. The odd glitch, here and there, but nothing serious. A good day. And he seems to have had a good time with his support worker too.

   I made what is called a Barm Brack today!!! It is basically a type of tea-bread, but tastes kind of like a malt loaf. It turned out quite good, although it was probably in the oven about 10 minutes too long. I will have another go next week.

   Was chatting tonight on MSN (via smart phone … cocky sod) to an old friend, whom I’ve not chatted to for quite a while. Strange as it may seem, I think the world of this person. I have never met her, don’t know what she looks like, only ‘spoken’ on MSN, but have a lot of respect for her. It is strange.
