Well tomorrow is the eldest lads big day. The day me and Mrs H have been dreading for very different reasons. Her, because her little boy is fleeing the nest, and me because I know how upset she is going to be. It is going to be one torturous day all round. To cap it all, we have to convince the youngest to go to his weekend club. After a week on respite, that’s not going to be easy either. He was not in such a good mood when I got home. However a couple of downloads later, and he seems to be fine.

Work, well what can I say, that’s not been said before. I have to say though, I hate it when someone takes the same holiday as me. It’s like losing a holiday when someone is off at the same time.

El Spiko is back on Monday. Another thing to look forward to, I don’t think. It will be quite a busy day really. Well the morning will be at least. Four or five reports to run, plus the stuff D*** usually does, and then there is a weekly scheduled routine to run.

Guess what. I managed a bit of a walk at lunchtime. Not far, I would estimate about 3/4 of a mile, just up and down the estate. But it got me out, and it was quite warm really.

Just been to pick the eldest up. He’s been out to a performance of Shakespeare in the Park, with his grandparents. He said it was really good, and the rain held off for them. Pouring down now though (23:30 gmt).

Right, I’ll just finish this whiskey, and I’m done. There is a new NaBloPoMo theme from tomorrow. Apparently the theme is ‘Tomorrow’. That is going to take some working into the blog.
